Modern Girl Camp: Week 2 Social Etiquette and Slumber Party

The second week was filled with tons of fun!

We made picture frames using popsicle sticks.  We painted and added beads to make them fancy.

We found our center with yoga.

Butterfly Party

Beautiful Butterfly Party
A swag and matching butterfly garland were hung to welcome the party guests.
Garland was also strung from the ceiling in each room.
Custom tutu's and butterfly wings were created for each girl.
Butterflies and lanterns were suspended above the food table.

Custom trays were created to display the party food.

Food labels were added to make the party festive.

Butterfly party favors for all of the guests.
Beautiful!

Girly Skull Party

Turquoise and Pink Skull Party
I designed this girly Turquoise and Pink Skull Party for Destany's 14th birthday.  It was a windy day but I didn't let that stop my creative fun. Enjoy!

This yard stake was created to welcome the party guests.
Girly skulls adorned the fence.  The bow almost didn't survive the wind!

Lanterns were suspended from the party tent using various shades of pink, turquoise and black.

This skeleton keepsake was placed on an easel for party-goers to write birthday wishes to the guest of honor.

It's tradition in the African American culture to pin money on the birthday celebrator-ant.  This money mum was designed to collect the birthday loot.

I added a zebra print to the party design to create a wild and whimsical feel.

Turquoise and pink skull, customized, toppers were also included in the design.

The birthday girl was pleased!

Modern Girl Camp: Week 1 Table Etiquette and Tea Party

The first week of camp was a resounding success!

The week began with making headbands using tulle, butterfly pins and pink elastic.

We learned how to set the table. Then practiced holding the knife and fork correctly.

We perfected the hula!

But didn't fare well at softball.

We ended the week with a delightful tea party!

 Lovely!

And we could not forget our fancy shoes!!
